Haddon Township’s 19th Annual Block Party
Saturday, September 27th!
The 19th Annual Haddon Township Block Party, sponsored by 1st Colonial Bank and DJK Roofing, will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM along W. Park Blvd. near the Township's Crystal Lake Pool Complex. Rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th. More information >

Shade Tree Commission Sidewalk Brochure (PDF)
Purpose of this Packet:To provide home owners and sidewalk contractors guidance when replacing or repairing sidewalks in Haddon Township.

Lawn clippings 
In order to be recycled -- grass, leaves and lawn clippings should be placed in a trash container (not in plastic bags) on your regular trash day. Lawn clippings and brush are recycled during spring, summer and fall. They are considered part of the regular trash during the winter season. For further information and details on trash and recycling, please see the Haddon Press summer edition/link or you may contact the Public Works Department at 856-854-1825 between the hours of 7:00 am-3:00 pm.

Contracts & Project Bids

Notice is hereby given that the Township of Haddon (the “Township”) will be seeking qualifications for the provisions of certain professional and extraordinary un-specifiable services. The qualifications are being sought as part of a fair and open process being undertaken by the Township pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44-20.4 et seq.

Responses to provide the services will be received by the Township, New Jersey until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at which time, no further responses will be accepted. All qualified responders will be interviewed by the Mayor and Commissioners at designated times set thereafter.

Qualifications will be accepted for the following: MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE The Township requires legal services for the position of Municipal Court Judge for the Township of Haddon Municipal Court. Click here for more information.

Senior Notices

The deadline for senior and disabled HOMEOWNERS to file their 2007 Homestead Rebate Applications has been extended from June 2, 2008, to August 15, 2008. The deadline for filing 2007 Senior Freeze (property tax reimbursement) applications has also been extended to August 15 from the original June 2 due date.

The Homestead Rebate Application deadline has also been extended for all eligible TENANTS, whether they're seniors or disabled or not. The tenant rebate application (Form TR-1040) that was due on April 15, 2008 has a new filing deadline of August 15. Agents are available during normal business hours from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Taxes

Please note
that there are fees associated with paying your water/sewer and taxes online. Credit card payments will be approximately 3.25% of your total bill. If you pay by ACH or e-checks, there is a $1.00 convenience fee. Please contact the Tax Department, extn. 4121, with any questions.
